With over forty-five years of real estate experience, Karen provides premier client service in an expansive market area, with properties ranging from beautiful estates in Baltimore County to penthouses in Harbor East to waterfront homes on Gibson Island and Annapolis. Nationally recognized as a Top Producer since 1996, this seasoned professional and noted local authority in the real estate arena has represented many of the area’s most notable and iconic properties. Known for her incredible work ethic, Karen is an Accredited Buyer Broker and has acheived her GRI designation. Hubble Bisbee has guided countless home buyers in their quest to find their perfect property in all price points.

Granddaughter of L. L. Hubble, who in 1918 founded The Hubble Company Real Estate, Karen is the third generation in her family to pursue a career in real estate. Licensed in 1977, Bisbee became a full-time agent following graduation from Hollins College in 1981. Karen was a partner in The Hubble Company from 1983 until the firm’s merger with W.H.C. Wilson & Co. in 1990. In 1996, Hubble Bisbee and her mother, Nancy Hubble, joined O’Conor, Piper and Flynn, which went on to become Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. There the nationally recognized team were Top Producers for the company from 1996 through 2015. In October 2015, the Hubble Bisbee Group left Coldwell Banker and opened their own office under Long & Foster in Green Spring Station where Karen Hubble Bisbee and the Hubble Bisbee Group were Top Producers through 2022. In 2023, Hubble Bisbee established its own brokerage and affiliated with Christie’s International Real Estate, becoming the independently owned and operated Hubble Bisbee Christie’s International Real Estate. Hubble Bisbee has been repeatedly recognized as one of America’s Best Real Estate Professionals, most recently ranking #4 in Volume for Large Teams in the State of Maryland in 2022. Karen has been named to the prestigious Christie’s Master’s Circle every year since its inception in 2019 and just recently named for 2024.

Karen is a Life Member of the Real Estate Million Dollars Association and has served as Vice Chair of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors (GBBR) Condo/Cooperative Committee and as a member of GBBR’s Public Relations and Arbitration Committees. She achieved her GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designations and is an Associate Broker with the firm. Karen has been voted Baltimore’s Best Upscale Realtor by Baltimore Magazine with the Group recording residential sales in excess of one billion dollars in the last seven years.

A multi-term President of the Hollins College Alumnae Association, Karen has been actively involved with the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA), having served as First Vice Chairperson of BMA’s Women’s Committee, Treasurer and member of their Executive Committee. She also sat on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Friends of the American Wing. She previously chaired the Hunt Valley Antiques Show and served on the Maryland Historical Society’s Galleries and Accessions Committees. In 2009, Karen was honored by the Maryland High School Athletic Directors Association as “Volunteer of the Year” for her work with the Bryn Mawr School, from which her daughter graduated. Karen was an active volunteer at the Georgetown University from 2009-2013. Karen currently sits on the Board of Directors of TLC Lacrosse, a local non-profit girl’s lacrosse club she co-founded in 2004 and has been a member of the Grand National Race Committee since 1993. Hubble Bisbee has also been an avid supporter for many years of both the Land Preservation Trust and the Valleys Planning Council, protecting, open space and promoting conservation and land stewardship.

Karen resides in Lutherville and Gibson Island with her husband, Stephen. Their daughter, Abigail Bisbee Dean, is a Vice President, Client Relationship Director, Client Advisory Americas, Christie’s New York.
